From Cecilia's kitchen to Downtown Camden.

Artesana Soaps began before there was a storefront, shelves full of products or even a “Coming Soon” sign.

It started in Cecilia Davoren's kitchen, where Cecilia and her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth “Liz” Davoren, began making soap together. What started there grew into Artesana Soaps, and in 2017, Liz and Cecilia opened the doors to the Artesana storefront in Downtown Camden, Arkansas.

Today, Liz owns and operates Artesana, but the heart of what she and Cecilia created remains the same: handmade products, made in small batches with intention.

Soap is still at the heart of Artesana. Over the years, the line has grown to include Body Butter, Body Serum, facial care, shampoo bars, beard care, shower steamers and other bath and body favorites—all with the goal of bringing a little affordable luxury to the everyday.

Some customers come to us for colorful soaps and favorite fragrances. Others are looking for something simple and unscented. We love being able to offer both—and helping people find the Artesana products that are right for them.

Nearly a decade after those first batches in Cecilia's kitchen, Artesana products are still being made by hand in Downtown Camden and shipped to customers across the country.

We are incredibly grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, placed an order online, told a friend about us or simply kept coming back for a favorite.
